Top 3 Family Movies to See

Inside Out

Inside out has gone viral, if we're talking advertising. Everyone from State Farm to Subway has jumped on the advert bandwagon to feature this wholesome movie alongside their products. Why is this movie so versatile? Because it features a character that represents each mood of the human psyche; which is in itself versatile. Fear can represent insurance, happiness can represent a business with a great menu item. That's quite alright with us though, because this movie is just as entertaining for adults as it is for children.

From the previews we saw, the inner consciousness of the mom and dad are completely relatable, down to the way nerve-wracked Fear reacted when not knowing what the mom was thinking when she had a questionable look on her face.  This movie is hilarious and the viewer is watching the world from the inside, which makes it even funnier. Think about it, when you think back to something hilariously stupid you did and say "What was I thinking", well this movie will show you exactly how your brain was operating that day.

Minions

Everyone was a fan of Despicable Me; rescued orphans, a redeemed villain, oh and MINIONS!!! Yes, they were a hilarious highlight in the movie and although they only say one word, their behavior speaks a thousand. From partying to trying to survive on an ice sheet, watching these "evil" creations be anything but, is so satisfying. This movie has also garnered many advertisement spots and has been heavily sponsored.

We like that the Minions' fascination with Bananas has been carried into this film as well. We are wondering if other characters will make cameos as well, but we don't expect it. Minions offers good, clean humor, creative expressions since the minions do not speak, so they must physically and hilariously show you what they mean and want.

Pixels

Nostalgia.... this movie is nostalgia at its finest. This generation has been immersed in memes depicting retro video games, toys, and great childhood experiences; its only fitting for a movie dedicated to old video games would be made. This movie already has a naturally large fan base and its only getting bigger; the best part about this movie is that the main characters are Adam Sandler, also a nostalgic actor, Kevin James who's hilarious, and a group of characters who were great at playing these games when they were younger. This movie will definitely be entertaining for everyone in the family.

Pixels was also featured on a top cable channel sponsoring a segment.
