Thinking of wholesome cartoons for your toddlers? Perhaps, one of the many worries of parents are the impacts of media in their children’s growth. Mothers and fathers must be attentive on the shows and programs their children are watching via television or hearing from the radio, as some cartoons and other children's programs may show some scenes and/or use words that are not comprehensible or appropriate for children.

We've compiled a list of 3 more wholesome cartoons that will surely pass your criteria to compliment our previous article: 3 Wholesome Cartoons for your Toddlers Part 1 in our Toddlers section.
Peter Rabbit - Anyone hear of Peter Rabbit? The rabbit who wears a jacket and shoes. Most of us may know him since his tale was a bit older; its first appearance was in 1902 in “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” written by English author and illustrator, Helen Beatrix Potter. He also appeared in five more books between 1904 and 1912. Peter Rabbit was created by an Helen, and she named Peter Rabbit after the pet rabbit that she had when she was a child, whom she called Peter Piper.
The rabbits in the story do not only involve Peter, but his family too. He lives in a rabbit hole with his mother Mrs. Josephine Rabbit and his sisters Cotton-tail, Flopsy, and Mopsy.
My Friend Rabbit- Another rabbit story for the list of wholesome cartoons for your toddlers, is “ My Friend Rabbit”. It was written and illustrated by American writer Eric Rohmann and was published in 2002 as a children’s picture book. It displays a story of friendship between a mouse and a rabbit. After five years, the story was adapted into an animated television series.
The TV series which started airing in 2007 won the Pulcinella Award for Best Preschool TV Series in 2008 and the Alliance of Children's Television award for Best Preschool Series in 2009. The said series is currently aired on 1TV, Boomerang, Treehouse TV, Fuji TV, KBS2, Qubo and Playhouse Disney in the UK, Ireland, and the US. Along with his friends, aside from the mouse, are  Hazel (the squirrel), Thunder (the rhinoceros), Jasper (the crocodile) and Edweena (the elephant). All of them have different personalities that create their roles in the story.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates- “Yo ho, let’s go!” the famous catchphrase of Jake in “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”. Yes, Neverland just like Peter Pan’s Neverland as it was based on the Peter Pan’s story. This animated television series is being aired in Disney Junior. The story involves three children, namely Jake, Izzy and Cubby who are the protagonist of the story. They are against Captain Hook, Smee and Tick-Tock the crocodile who always spoils the fun of Jake and his band. The three children have a parrot friend named Skully who is with them in competing for the treasure against Captain Hook and Smee. After being successful with their puzzle solving or pirate problems, they receive doubloons (gold coins) which they keep in the “Team Treasure Chest”.

  1. Great! Along with the shows by Andrew Yeatman, I can add these as well for my kids. Also, the vacation is about to start and I don’t want them to watch shows that have bad scenes and bad lessons to give. These are going to be good.
