Will Bennifer Make A Comeback??

After almost ten years of marriage, the public learned of the devastating decision Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner made to end their relationship. The couple jointly announced that they were splitting up just one day after their 10th anniversary with the following statement:

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple tells PEOPLE in a joint statement. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

Shortly after, the speculations of a reunion between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck surfaced, with some celebs claiming to call them the Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor of today's hollywood scene; many stated that it was inevitable for the two to get back together at some point or another.

In other comments, friends of the couple stated that Ben and JLo reunited at the 2015 Oscars where the two decided to keep in touch via email. Mutual friends of Garner and Ben claim that Lopez's continued presence in Ben's life played a part in their decision to call a quits.

In a recent interview on "Watch What Happens Live", Jennifer Lopez's close friend, Leah Remini, was asked if there was possibility of JLo and Ben getting back together. Rather than say no, Remini stated that she didn't know and supported her claims by saying "If I did know, I wouldn't say". She ended the comment by stating "He's married and she's in a relationship".

For many Hollywood watchers, their hopes are in the idea of Ben and Lopez reuniting. Remembering their courtship and engagement, the couple became one of the most talked about celebs in the country, even being the first to be given a joint name "Bennifer". Together they appeared on the covers of hundreds of magazines and Ben was asked to do many interviews on Spanish television, where he participated speaking in Spanish, which he says Jennifer taught him. The couple was asked about everything from the dinners Jennifer cooked, which Ben claimed to have loved her rice and beans, to the price of the $2 million dollar pink, diamond engagement ring Ben purchased for Jennifer. Ben even appeared in one of Jennifer's music videos where the couple portrayed their struggles with paparazzi and gossip tabloids that would ultimately be the cause of their breakup.

Ever since, fans have hoped the two wonder celebs would reunite when the limelight wasn't as aggressive and intrusive. Many made claims that Ben's relationship with Jennifer Garner was nothing but a rebound after working with her in Daredevil. As we recall, Ben and Jennifer Lopez fell in love on the set of Gigli, one of the worst movies in history, which lead to one of the most epic romances of all time.
