What you Can do to Help Louisiana Flood Disaster Victims

The 500-year flood that came as a result of unprecedented torrential rains and ravaged massive areas in the state have left thousands homeless and helpless in the aftermath of the flooding. An updated report by the New York Times stated that the death toll has reached 8 while other sources claim a death toll of 9, with over 20,000 residents rescued by emergency response crews and good samaritans. As the state's residents await assistance, President Barak Obama has issued a declaration of disaster, and many organizations have opened their doors to accept donations and help. Below is a list of organizations and clubs we've been able to compile so far that are available to accept donations.
