Kandi's Ski Trip Aunts Fight: What Really Happened

So, we caught Kandi's ski trip late, but what we saw today was a blowout between Kandi and her two aunts Bertha and Nora. Here's the gist of the scoop: both Nora and Bertha were upset about their accommodations during the stay at the Bella Vista Estate for the family ski trip, Kandi's friend and assistant, Carmon, made the booking accommodations according to what we heard on the show.

What The Fight Was About

So Kandi decided to take the family on a free trip to Steamboat, Colorado and Carmon was in charge of making the bookings. The estate, at which the family was staying, was comprised of several different cabins that spanned from the front to the back of the complex.

Both, Bertha and Nora, were accommodated towards the back of the complex where they had a top level room, which required them to walk up approximately 12 steps. To reach the main cabin were Kandi was staying with Todd, their two daughters, Riley and Kayla, and Kandi's mother, Joyce, the two and had to walk up an approximately 1 mile road with patches of ice.

While most people wouldn't complain about being invited on the free trip, the issue here is that both Nora and Bertha are 73 and 75, walking so long of a stretch on an icy road, and walking up so many stairs is a major inconvenience for some people of that age. Both aunts felt like they were not taken into consideration when the bookings were made and believe that Kandi herself had made the decisions on the booking.

The misconception that Kandi had booked the rooms, led them to believe that Kandi apparently did not care about them enough to accommodate them closer to the main cabin. However, as the show continued, it was evident that both sisters were upset about more than just the accommodations.

Why They Were Really Mad

Granted, the issue with the accommodations was a big deal, and many people who were viewing did believe that it was unacceptable. However, the aunts did let on that the major reason why they were feeling the way that they were, was because of built up resentment towards Kandi for not being the same person that they used to know pre-Todd.

According to the aunts, Kandi used to have Sunday dinner at one of their houses every week, and call the other on holidays and every birthday to offer well wishes. According to the aunts, ever since her relationship with Todd evolved, it seems that Kandi no longer keeps in touch with either of the aunts, to which her mother chimed into also say that she rarely kept in touch with her as well.

The episode left off with Kandi trying to rectify the situation by offering both Riley and Kayla's room, however, the two stepsisters refuse to give up their rooms and they instead traded rooms with Kandi's assistants. We were given previews of next weeks episode, which included a blowout between Mama Joyce and Carmon where mama Joyce was accusing her of having an affair with Todd.
