Travel in Luxury, and Bring Fido to The Bella Vista Estate

Everyone likes to go on vacation, but arguably the biggest issue with pet owners is the fact that many hotels and lodgings do not allow pets. We all would like to bring our pets with us on a family vacation, after all they are family too.

If you're thinking about taking a mountainous vacation this summer or this winter, we've got the perfect place for you. The Bella Vista Estate is a luxury, private retreat with heavenly views of Steamboat, Colorado. You've heard of it on Bravo's Kandi's Ski Trip, and we've featured it here on The Mothers Diary a few times as well.

The Bella Vista Estate allows pets, and the best part is that they don't have any restrictions on breeds or sizes, which most establishments do. We recently featured The Bella Vista Estate on our "Military Families" column, with their generous discount offer where active-duty service members and veterans get 5% off of their stay when paying by check.

When staying with your pet the only thing you have to worry about is paying the $250 nonrefundable pet fee. This fee will cover your pets stay at a luxury resort and your cabin's cleaning costs afterwards. The Bella Vista Estate consists of three cabins; the main house, the guesthouse, and the lodge. There are no restrictions on which cabins pets can stay in.

The Bella Vista Estate also has a few other discounts available for interested patrons. There is a 25% discount going on for all parties who book their stay within 30 days of their arrival. For a luxury resort, this is a great deal. And partnered with The Mothers Diary, anyone who mentions us get one free night with the booking of five or more.

There isn't a greater place to stay when visiting Steamboat, Colorado, the savings are unbeatable and the customer service is absolutely tailored to each individual guest. Remember there are a few things to bring with you when traveling with your pet. Don't forget:

  • Their bed or mat
  • Purchase a collapsable travel feeding bowl
  • Make sure they are current on their vaccinations
  • Bring plenty of their favorite foods and treats
  • For dogs with long fur, Remember to be mindful of your destination. If you are going to a hot area, be sure to give your pet a haircut before taking them; this will reduce the chances of them suffering from a heat stroke and keep them more comfortable. If you are traveling to a cooler area, be sure to let their hair grow before you travel.
